2018 Reflections + Welcoming 2019

2018. What a year.

A game changing, emotional, inspiring, sad, exciting year.

And now 2019. I am sure in a year, I will be describing 2019 with similar adjectives because what I definitely know is life is not linear. It will zig and zag. Filled with happiness and sadness, sometimes happening at the same time. All of us filled with “big dreams and broken hearts” as Beck Dorey-Stein writes in my favorite book I read in 2018.

My hope for 2019 is to take each day as is. Remembering if it is bad, tomorrow has the possibility to be great. Love every person in my life with my whole heart and hope that they know it. Keep embracing my new city and never for a moment take it for granted. Explore more. Healthy living and all that too, for sure. Stay informed and hungry for change. Try and do good.
