First snow

The first snow in New York made for one of my favorite days since moving here. I know by January I’ll be jaded and my thoughts will be consumed with winter in California, but even native New Yorkers I have talked to have said they always love the first snow of the season. Also, it was really fun to photograph and added a whole new layer of beauty and lightness to the city.
